What is executive coaching?

Executive coaches provide a confidential and supportive sounding board for their clients by asking questions and challenging assumptions to help them see a bigger picture that draws them forward. Executive coaches are not counselors providing therapy or consultants providing solutions. We are expert conversationalists providing a place for you to pause, think and discover the most authentic solutions for yourself.

What’s the difference between executive coaching, leadership coaching and personal or life coaching?

The simple answer is that the different types of coaching refer to the different areas in which a client most desires to grow. Quite frankly, professional coaching is professional coaching. We call our coaching “executive coaching” because we work with leaders most often in the context of their work. But all areas of their life will show up in any given conversation at any given time.

The reality is that all good professional coaching is question-based, forward focused conversation. All good professional coaching grows a client’s self-efficacy and propels a client’s movement in the direction they most desire. All good professional coaching will stretch a client to think beyond.
