2Step Executive Coaching, LLC Coaching Agreement
2 Min. Read
Welcome to 2StepExec™ and thank you for trusting us with providing our coaching services (“SERVICES”) to assist you in meeting your leadership development, business performance, and well-being goals.
As part of our working together, it is important to make sure we are on the same page and have a clear understanding of definitions, expectations, and commitments to clarify what 2StepExec™ coaching services are and are not.
This agreement establishes the coaching relationship between 2StepExec™ coaches ("PROs"), 2StepExec Coaching Program Participants ("CLIENT"), and anyone who may have sponsored someone’s coaching ("SPONSOR").
DEFINITIONS, EXPECTATIONS, AND COMMITMENTS.
Please carefully read through the following three sections to ensure we are on the same page and to confirm you are all in!
1. Coaching is not consulting.
The goal of coaching is to facilitate and support your ability to think and take action for yourself to achieve your chosen goals, not to give you solutions or to direct you to follow a particular path.
The coaching process is thought-provoking and creative, encouraging an awareness and perhaps even a shift in thinking for you regarding who you are, what you do, and how you do it.
This respectful, inquiring form of conversation and listening expands your ability to make significant changes, move forward in new areas and have more of what you want in your life.
The main objective of participating in a 2StepExec coaching package is to attain certain behavioral changes to optimize desired outcomes. Attaining such change is a process and requires commitment to the process.
Finally, our goal is to facilitate and support - not direct - our CLIENTS ability to achieve their chosen goals. The CLIENT is the expert, the coach is the facilitator.
2. Coaching is not counseling or any other form of professional legal, medical, financial, or spiritual advisory service.
Services are not in any way to be construed as, or in replacement for, psychotherapy, legal counsel, or medical advice.
Coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders nor is it a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, spiritual or other qualified professionals.
Clients are fully responsible for their physical, mental and emotional well-being. They are responsible for creating their own decisions, taking their own actions and attaining results. They are free to reject any advice, suggestions, or requests. Any advice, suggestions or requests are as-is, having no guaranteed outcome.
Clients can choose to discontinue coaching at any time.
Clients should seek independent professional guidance for professional advice regarding their legal, financial, mental health or medical needs.
3. Coaching is a commitment to trusted, outcome-based, change-oriented collaboration. You will be working with a 2StepExec Professional Coach to develop leadership skills, improve performance, and boost well-being.
If it is your own well-being, skills, and performance being developed, you are a Client. If you are providing such an opportunity to others, you are a Sponsor.
Here's how everyone works together:
2StepExec Coaches are responsible for and commit to:
Partnering with CLIENTs and communicating with SPONSORs, as needed

If there is reason to believe that one of these unusual circumstances exists, the appropriate authorities will be informed.
