Look To Jesus

Do not look to other Christians to qualify your faith. Look to Jesus, he’s the one who planted the seed of faith in you.

Look to him to make it grow and expect that it will grow as you live like he lived, as a suffering servant satisfied not by power or by finding your own personal purpose or by building your own desired reputation or by making the most of your own talents in your own way, but by being under pressure and choosing not to relieve it by numbing it or complaining about it or ghosting it or in some other way dissociating from it, but to—in the midst of it—remain by resting in the arms of the one who disarmed you, kneeling at the feet of the one who sits at the Father’s right hand, living with the certain hope that you will never die, having everything when all you have on this earth has been taken from you, and living with creative and collaborative agency secured by faith, not hindered by fear of the unknown, but fueled by the joy of knowing the faithfulness of God endures forever as He goes about guiding you to be with him and worship him—satisfying you beyond every ounce of human understanding as He works through you to build His kingdom.

Don’t fall for the pervasive lie that Jesus came to set you free just so you could worship yourself and build your own.
